To connect DV camcorders using USB2 instead of FireWire, verify whether your DV camcorder supports USB Video Class 1.0 driver (also called USB over DV, DV Motion, USB 2.0 DV streaming). Most DV Camcorders do not currently support this driver. The older USB streaming format common to many DV camcorders does not support sending video in the DV format over USB, and so, is not supported in Adobe Premiere Elements. AVCHD Camcorders. When importing some Flash files, a message “Flash player has stopped potentially unsafe operation' appears. Click “OK”, and the file will import normally. When capturing form HDV camcorders, you sometimes see interlace lines in the preview window, The interlace lines do not appear in the captured video. Divx files are sometimes, not imported, and sometimes, only audio or video part of the file is imported. After completing time-lapse capture, it can take some time for the Organizer to update and display the thumbnails for the captured files. Still images captured using Stop Motion are not added to the organizer.
Ensure that you have installed the drivers shipped with the device before you import media from them. Stop Motion capture is not supported for HDV camcorders. For HDV content, generation of thumbnails for DVD scene menus can take longer than expected. Organizer sometimes exhibits performance issues with large catalogs (5000-10,000 files).
Voice over narration, is sometimes, not recorded when using a mono USB microphone. When previewing audio mixes, pops may be heard as the CTI passes form one clip to the next. These pops are not played in your exported movie. Audio mixer sliders sometimes become “sticky” when mixing clips that have been time stretched. Japanese SPECIFIC Entering ¥ symbol in Menu templates produces a backslash ( ). In Photoshop Elements, choosing “Edit in Adobe Premiere Elements” does not, sometimes, bring the Adobe Premiere Elements window to the foreground.

You cannot archive projects with Type 1 DV-AVI files. If standard definition menu templates are used when burning to Bluray, menu images of low quality are displayed. When burning a Bluray disc to a previously burned disc, an error message indicating that the disc is incompatible, instead of an error message indicating the disc is full, is displayed.
